Why Schuberth Riot helmets for your agency?
Schuberth make the best riot helmets, designed with next-generation features that include:
- Being rated to protect against actual realistic threats, not just certified as a construction helmet like some other brands (EN397 is construction helmet standard)
- Schuberth P100 helmets are rated for use for ten years – threee times as long as other helmets made from ‘Thermoplastic’ ‘Duraplastic’ or other plastics.
- Developed as a modular system ready for all future requirements including:
- Certified for quick integration with gas masks without having to remove the helmet
- Laser protection. The latest threats facing police officers, particularly overseas, are from laser ‘dazzling’ or blinding instruments, Schuberth have laser protection visors that work as part of the helmet system.

There are so many ballistic helmets on the market. Schuberth sought to re-invent the ballistic helmet with the M100, which is why they went back to what they knew best. End-users. This helmet is revolutionary, try it once, you’ll never want anything else.
The M100 has a high level of ballistic protection meeting: NIJ IIIA, VPAM 2 and STANAG 2920.
But differing to other ballistic helmets available, it also meets the demanding shock absorption requirements for a mountaineering helmet EN 12492, standards for a wild water helmet EN 1385, and work safety standards EN 397. The shell of the helmet is also made of multi-layer fire-resistant aramid composite.
Schuberth brought technology from their F1, motorcycle and riot helmets to ensure the helmet exceeds all requirements and is comfortable and stable, even under combat conditions.
The M100 has an ergonomic headset loop, creating strap guides that make wearing hearing protection part of the helmet, rather than fighting against it.
Schuberth’s patented Divided Modular Liner (DML), split headband ring and mesh suspension system conform to the users head and ensure stability as well as comfort. The helmet also features quick adjustment via a wheel adjuster.
Schuberth Extended Connection Devices (ECD) enable advanced cable management and allow for quick integration of additional accessories such as lamps, covers or artificial camouflage elements.
The Device Connection Interface System (DCIS) has a rear rail in addition to the pair of side rails and a NVG shroud. This makes the expansion of capabilities, with future peripherals, easily and quickly possible thanks to an open system architecture.

Why the M100 and not another ballistic helmet?
- Designed for maritime and littoral operations. M100 is rated to be diveable to 50 metres in saltwater and suffers no adverse damage from saltwater immersion. This is critical for helmets exposed to this environment.
- Schuberth M100 helmets are exceptionally comfortable for the end-user. Weight is important in helmets, but comfort and interaction with other systems (such as hearing protection) is critical.
- Developed as a modular system ready for all future requirements with the end user at front of mind.
